We want you to love everything you order from Trended Gifts. If something is not quite right, this policy explains your options and how we will make things as straightforward as possible for you.

About Our Products and Delivery

All products sold on trendedgifts.com are fulfilled by a third-party supplier and shipped directly to you. Because our products are dispatched from an overseas supplier, please allow between 7 and 15 business days for your order to arrive. We will always aim to keep you updated on the progress of your delivery.

Your Right to Cancel (Change of Mind Returns)

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 calendar days of receiving your item. You do not need to give us a reason for cancelling.

To exercise this right, you must notify us within those 14 calendar days by emailing us at budgetboss.co.uk@gmail.com. Please include your order number and let us know that you wish to cancel.

Once you have notified us, you will need to return the item to us. Please note the following conditions for change of mind returns:

  • The item must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging where possible.
  • You are responsible for the cost of return postage for change of mind returns.
  • We recommend using a tracked postal service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit on their way back to us.
  • Once we receive your returned item, we will process your refund within 14 days.

Personalised and Custom Items

Please be aware that personalised or custom-made items are exempt from the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This means we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for personalised products unless they are faulty or misdescribed. Please double-check all personalisation details carefully before placing your order.

Faulty, Damaged, or Misdescribed Items

Your rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 are fully protected when you shop with us. If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or does not match its description on our website, you are entitled to the following:

  • Within 30 days of receiving your item: You are entitled to a full refund if the item is faulty, damaged, or misdescribed.
  • Between 30 days and 6 months of receiving your item: You are entitled to a repair or replacement. If a repair or replacement is not possible or fails to resolve the issue, you may be entitled to a full or partial refund.
  • After 6 months: You may still have rights to a repair or replacement, though it will be for you to demonstrate that the fault existed at the time of purchase.

If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you will not be asked to pay the cost of return postage. We will cover the cost of returning the item or provide you with a prepaid returns label where possible.

How to Start a Return

Starting a return is simple. Just follow these steps:

  • Email us at budgetboss.co.uk@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for your return.
  • If your item is faulty or damaged, please include a brief description of the issue and, where possible, attach a photograph to help us resolve things quickly.
  • We will respond within 2 business days with full return instructions, including the return address.
  • Please do not send your item back to us before receiving our return instructions, as this may cause delays in processing your return.

Refunds

Once we have received your returned item and confirmed it meets the relevant conditions, we will process your refund within 14 days. Your refund will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

Please note that it may take a few additional days for your bank or payment provider to show the refund in your account. This is outside of our control, but please do get in touch if you have any concerns.

Items Lost or Damaged in Transit

If your order has not arrived within 15 business days of your dispatch confirmation, or if your parcel arrives in a damaged condition, please contact us as soon as possible at budgetboss.co.uk@gmail.com. We will investigate the matter with our supplier and delivery partner and work to resolve the issue for you promptly.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including your rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If you are ever unsure about your rights, you can seek free advice from the Citizens Advice consumer helpline or visit the UK government website at gov.uk.
